Read Along Books
Read along books allow children to read along with an electronic voice which helps them develop their reading skills. Both Wonderbooks and VoxBooks are available. These purchases by FOLK were a pilot program, which put the first read along books on HCPL's shelves. That success lead to HCPL acquiring read along books for the rest of the library system.
Audio Visual Equipment
The purchase of audio visual equipment by FOLK allowed the library to livestream and post program videos that target all ages. An example includes online cooking classes created using the audio visual equipment, along with cooking equipment, which was also supplied by FOLK.
