On March 17, 2022, held at the Kingwood Country Club, was the Kingwood Women’s Club Joy of Giving Reception honoring their 2022 Philanthropic Grant Recipients. The Friends of the Library Kingwood (FOLK) was awarded $1,000 to help offset costs to purchase assets for the Kingwood Library Branch. In attendance to accept the reward was Carolyn Humphrey, President of Friends of the Library Kingwood, and Ryan Fennell, Kingwood Library Branch Manager.
